MadMicrobe is thrilled to announce the addition of Arnaud and Zlatko to our growing roster of talent. They join our team of Science Animators working closely with MadMicrobe’s UK branch, handling projects there and across Europe.

Arnaud grew up in Brittany, France, and is currently based in Basel which borders France, Germany, and Switzerland. He studied at the Ecole Emile Cohl in Lyon, France where he received a Masters’s Degree in Multimedia and Graphic Design. Over the next 12 years, Arnaud began carving a name for himself in the Motion Design Industry, working in Paris and London as Art Director and CG Generalist on many projects including, Branding Design for tech companies such as Skype, Virgin, McKinsey, ABB, Live Events for music artists Deadmau5 and Lily Allen, Creative Advertising for Nike and the television series Mr. Robot, Video Game work for Horizon Zero Dawn, and the 2017 film Ghost in the Shell.

Arnaud is extremely passionate about creating mesmerizingly beautiful visual pieces and compelling stories in whatever form is required. Being busy as a husband and dad of 2 girls means time is always running short, but when not working or parenting, you can find him trying to improve his skills in calisthenics or learning about health and nutrition.

Zlatko Naumov was born in Bitola, North Macedonia, where he still resides, and from where he works closely with the MadMicrobe UK team. Zlatko initially earned a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, however, while in college discovered the magical allure of 3D animation. He soon chose to change direction and pursue a career as a 3D Artist, eventually specializing in the field of Medical and Pharma Visualization. 

Over his 12-year career, he’s led teams of animators to produce award-winning content, some of which have gained millions of views on YouTube.

Says Zlatko, “To become a ‘Microbe’ is a dream come true, as I always considered MadMicrobe to be the benchmark of quality in this field– it is, without a doubt, one of the best medical animation studios in the world. Working under great management with top-notch artists is quite inspiring!  I can’t wait to do wonderful things in animation together.”

When he’s not hard at work making the human body’s inner workings look amazing, Zlatko devotes his time to being the best Dad he can be and enjoys playing team sports, swimming, and world traveling. As if the thrill of being a lead medical animator and father wasn’t enough, his hobby is seeking out and riding the world’s most exhilarating rollercoasters—busy man!
